One for all, all for sports, by Dan Guttenplan
Korrio, a cloud-based service for organizing sports, available as a companion mobile app, stands to replace team mothers along with several other volunteers that help organize teams. Parents will have more time to enjoy their children’s athletic experiences rather than becoming overwhelmed with one more organizational responsibility.
Available as an app since December of 2013, Korrio allows users to organize team rosters, registration, schedules, directions, share photo albums, communicate last minute changes and send group emails. With one click of the button, a coach or team manager can notify an entire team of a postponement or field change. With another, he can share a link to online registration for an upcoming season.
A lifelong sports fan, Steve Goldman spent 30 years in the business of high-tech software when he decided to launch Korrio in 2010. Goldman recently shared some of the latest developments at Korrio with FUEL Magazine.
