Now that the kids are back at school and fall sports leagues are in full swing, teams can appreciate how Korrio helps manage all facets of the season. This online sports automation platform takes care of many details to free up coaches’ and parents’ time to concentrate on the games. Korrio combines the business and social aspects of leagues, sports clubs and teams.
Modern technology improves the youth team experience. “We simplify lives by providing one integrated system that meets the needs of all involved: sports clubs, individual teams and players, and busy families on the go,” Kristina O’Connell, Korrio’s vice president of marketing, informed RESCUECOM. “Korrio is the place you go to manage your sports life – the necessary glue that pulls it all together for you.”
Korrio’s hosted websites for leagues include information for each team and player. Since everything is cloud-based, teams easily access their data on the Korrio website.
Among automated team functions are registration, team fees, practice and game schedules, rosters, scores and photo storage. Scheduled events automatically appear on the calendars of all parties involved.
Korrio’s website says 45 million kids participate in U.S. youth sports, so many sports leagues could benefit from Korrio’s services. “After six quarters in the market, we serve clubs in 28 states right now,” O’Connell continued. “Clubs, on average, use three to five different technology products to run their organization. Our hope is to offer one platform that all stakeholders can use to keep organized and share their sports life.”
