Popular youth player development and training academy to enhance the soccer experience on and off the field
SEATTLE, WA (September 6, 2012) – Korrio (korrio.com), a cloud-based service for organizing and sharing youth sports, announced today its selection by Real Boston Soccer Academy (SA) as its official sports automation service. Korrio provides the administrative and communications tools required to get players on the field and an online environment for staff, families and fans to share and build community.
In their first year, Real Boston SA is proving their potential with 15+ teams representing U11-U18 boys and girls. Real Boston SA’s academy program is geared toward youth player development and training built around their own curriculum designed from their seasoned coaching staff experience. Each player is given the opportunity to reach his or her highest level of play.
“We selected Korrio because it’s a one-stop-shop. Everything we need is in one place. Plus, Korrio helps us build our family. It allows people to congregate online to strengthen our efforts and improve communication,” said John Barata, Strategic Club Consultant, Real Boston SA. “Our members keep thanking us for having such an easy registration process.”
Korrio integrates web, mobile and social networking to provide coaches, administrators, parents and players with a comprehensive and easy-to-use online home. Each user has a customized view into their team and club and receives real-time updates on important schedule, location and event details. The platform also streamlines and automates essential administrative tasks, such as registration, payment processing, roster creation, game/practice scheduling and web hosting.
Steve Goldman, CEO and Founder of Korrio commented, “Our goals are to develop the tools needed to allow organizations like Real Boston Soccer Academy to flourish. We want them to focus solely on player development and education, and leave the rest to Korrio. By embracing the power of modern technology for sports, they can dedicate time and focus to their players, and be a model of success for other soccer academies.”
